This place is fabulous for scenery, great restaurant in the hotel, and is situated conveniently for most places, like Newcastle, Durham, Beamish, Metro Centre and ideal for shops and pubs. For people not wanting to drive very far, then this is an ideal location.

The situation of the cottages is excellent for visiting lots of places like Keilder Water, Beamish, Metro Centre and with the hotel facilities being available to the cottage guests it is ideal whatever the weather. We were also very impressed with the hotel staff who were very helpful.
